Ultimately, Hope Christian Discipleship will offer an online video discipleship resource that is built around the foundation of Union with Christ. It is called “Christian Discipleship and King Jesus.”
The focus of this discipleship model is oriented around our relational union with King Jesus. It is informed by the simple definition of discipleship found in Galatians 5:6, “As far as our relationship to King Jesus is concerned, it doesn’t matter whether we are circumcised or not. But what really matters is a faith that expresses itself through love.”
Saying it another way, “The only thing that matters in life is learning to enjoy and depend on our relational Union with King Jesus that expresses itself in self-sacrificial love.”
This phrase is the foundation of Christian discipleship and should inform the way that we relate to God, to others, and to our world. We have arranged our discipleship model around four theological components:
